How do we tackle Environmental Injustice?

Planning

We plan strategies collaboratively with members to address environmental issues through policy advancement, rapid response, and working groups focused on health, education, and international solidarity.

Resourcing

We resource members by connecting them with funding opportunities and education on the history and principles of Environmental Justice.

Empowering

We empower members to be stronger Environmental Justice advocates through trainings on environmental and climate justice tools and in-person convening with movement leaders from across the country to encourage cross-learning.

Did you know?

Only 1.3% of environmental philanthropy goes to Environmental Justice-related efforts

Black-led organizations do not receive the same levels of support as their white-led peers, with substantial gaps in both revenues and assets for groups with similarly qualified leaders.
